Today's episode of "WWE SmackDown Live" marked the real last stop before "WWE Survivor Series" this Sunday. Yesterday's episode of "WWE RAW" saw a huge skirmish between the two main-event teams, as well as main-eventing legends Brock Lesnar and Goldberg. This one, which is also the 900th episode of "WWE SmackDown Live," had a lot of great easter eggs for longtime fans.
The biggest splash that was made in this episode was the return of WWE icon the Undertaker, who has not been seen on TV since "WrestleMania 32" last April. He defeated current "WWE SmackDown Live" commissioner Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell match in that event.
The Deadman came to the Cutting Edge segment to deliver a warning to Team SmackDown, who is playing for what Undertaker calls his home, reports PWTorch. He says that if they fail at "WWE Survivor Series" this weekend, they'll have a reason to fear him. Fans are already speculating that all of this may be planting the seeds for an eventual huge matchup between the Undertaker and current WWE champion AJ Styles in "WWE SmackDown Live."
In other news, where the men brawled on "WWE RAW" yesterday, the women's teams did the fighting on "WWE SmackDown Live" today. WWE RAW Women's Champion Charlotte was present in a match between Nikki Bella and Carmella, and an assault by Nikki Bella led to an all-out battle. Turns out the "WWE RAW" women's team was also in the building, and the "WWE SmackDown Live" team quickly came down to turn it into a fight.

Here are the official match results from "WWE SmackDown Live" this week, according to WWE. The Miz defeated Dolph Ziggler, with help from the Spirit Squad and his wife Maryse to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship again.
Also in "WWE SmackDown Live," Miz will be going to "WWE Survivor Series" to defend the title against Sami Zayn from "WWE RAW"; if he loses, the title goes to "WWE RAW." Kalisto defeated Oney Lorcan from "WWE NXT." Nikki Bella vs. Carmella ended in a no contest, while American Alpha, Breezango, the Usos, and the Hype Bros defeated The Headbangers, The Spirit Squad, The Ascension, and the Vaudevillains in a 16-man tag team match.
