'Mass Effect: Andromenda' Release Date, News & Update: Bioware Showcases The New Species In the Game; Could Ship An Early Release In 2017

With "Mass Effect: Andromeda" exploring a new galaxy to live and colonize, there is a high possibility that the main protagonist could encounter new species in the game. With that said, Bioware art director, Joel Macmillan confirms of creating a new new race in "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

Kett Race In 'Mass Effect: Andromeda'

In an interview, Joel Macmillan gave little facts about the Kett race for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and how the protagonist can associate with the new species. Macmillan stated that player can choose to whether side with the Kett race or to go against them in "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

Joel Macmillan added that there will be a lot of stories and side-stories regarding the Kett race in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" since the species are new to the franchise. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will surely explore more about the Kett race when the game is launch in 2017, added Macmillan.

When asked about the Kett race's design and posture, Macmillan stated that Bioware took an organic approach towards the make-up of the new "Mass Effect: Andromeda" species. The art director also points out that the Kett's armor, the species' architecture are all based in an organic materials seen in "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

It is worth noting that what the Bioware art director has shed light upon is helpful, but Bioware is still silent with the new race's history. With that said, fans can't wait to see what the Kett race can do in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and learn their origins in the upcoming game.

Possible Early Release For 'Mass Effect: Andromeda' In 2017

It is possible that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" could be out early in 2017 as CFO, Blake Jorgensen spoke during the UBS Global Technology Conference. Jorgensen stated that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" could be out at the end of the fiscal year 2017 or March 31, 2017.

It was also previously reported that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" could be delayed due to Bioware's standards not meet while developing the sci-fi game. Jorgensen added that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is one of the greatest game title in the franchise.
