Floyd Mayweather On Conor McGregor: "I'm An Elephant; He's An Ant"
Mayweather believes that they must not be compared. In an interview with TMZ, "Money" sarcastically said that he does not know that McGregor reigned in MMA for 20 years undefeated and was world champion in five different weight divisions. He further insinuated that if the MMA fighter has ever made $300 million in one night and claimed that he is a living legend to the sport of boxing.
Mayweather added that he is an elephant and does not beef with ants. He said an elephant is so large it does not even notice ants. Mayweather quipped that comparing him to Conor McGregor is total disrespect.
McGregor answered the boxer's statements saying Mayweather could say it to his face. On Tuesday night, according to MMA Fighting, McGregor took a DJ booth at a club in New York and hit Mayweather back. McGregor was heard saying he respects the boxer but he believes he does not want real fighting; a true, pure and unarmed combat. He said Floyd wants to fight under boxing rules. Further, the two-division champion told Mayweather that he is coming and that he wants $100 million to fight under boxing rules because the boxer is afraid of a real fight.

UFC President Dana White in one his interviews told TMZ that Conor McGregor puts people to sleep by touching his opponent, and Floyd Mayweather also puts people to sleep with his fighting style and not with his hands. White also boasts that McGregor is special and that he commands respect from other fighters.
It can be recalled that it was Mayweather who first postulated a fight between himself and Conor. He made it look interesting enough to get him to leave his comfortable retirement life. If the fight will take place, fans from all over the world will surely get hyped up. Aside from writing a first in the history of sports, fans would like to see how the pound for pound king fares against the notorious mixed martial artist in the octagon.
