The "Two and a Half Men" star delivered a speech on stage at the Airbnb Open 2016 event in Los Angeles recenetly. Kutcher was one of the first to invest in the world's biggest accommodation-sharing site, Airbnb. Airbnb Open 2016 is an event featuring workshops and opportunities that lets speakers and participants to interact and improve future travel experience. The said event includes inspiration talks given by outstanding speakers, to which the Hollywood star, Ashton Kutcher, took part.

Ashton Kutcher was sharing his talk at the Airbnb Open 2016, when a protester started protesting and went up the stage. The activist, Ariel Gold, was holding a sign that reads “Airbnb out of settlements.” The activist pointed out that Airbnb is letting residents in West Bank settlements get away with illegal activity by listing their homes through the site, says Page Six. Gold’s protest was about the illegal activities by Airbnb in Israel.

The protester, Ariel Gold, is a member of the group called Code Pink. The activist group advocates an end to US wars and militarism, and supports peace and human rights. Ashton Kutcher, on the other hand, defended the online service and confronted the protester. “This company is about bringing people together, “ Kutcher said.

Ashton Kutcher expressed his sentiments at the Airbnb Open 2016 by saying, “[A world] doesn't discriminate against one another. We can get to know each other intimately and understand our collective narrative is a narrative for everyone, and that we all can belong in a world together without borders,” as reported by Daily Mail.

After Ashton Kutcher gave the protester a piece of his mind, it seemed like his message was conveyed well. The commotion ended as Kutcher assisted Gold offstage with a handshake.

“You're welcome to a world where we all belong. And if you want to sit down and have a conversation about it, I'm happy to have that conversation with you.” Kutcher ended his talk by receiving positive feedback from the crowd.
