‘Reign’ Season 4, Release Date, Spoilers, News & Updates: 2017 Premiere Confirmed; Season 4 Plot Revealed; Season 5 Possible?

The long-running historical fantasy TV series "Reign" is finally back! Fanatics hold on to your seats and let the countdown begin as "Reign" Season 4 is just around the corner.

Last Mar. 10, the renewal for a new season of "Reign" was announced by The CW. Based on the network's schedule, the debut episode of "Reign" Season 4 will be on Friday, Feb. 10 at 9 p.m. ET. "Reign" Season 4 is generally expected to happen since the previous season generated quite a high television rating.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, "Reign" Season 4 will be featuring a tougher Mary, much able than before, but still a little naive and rash, and self-sufficient. She really had to learn to stand on her own two feet. The production team is inclined towards the historic event of the life of Queen Mary, as to avoid criticisms about the imprecisions of the plot of the series. Henceforth, in this season might incline towards the victory of the Queen of England.

As reported previously by GamenGuide, "Reign" Season 4 will epically illustrate the rivalry of two resilient and fearless queens. Queen Elizabeth, portrayed by Rachel Starken will be the greatest threat to the life of Queen Mary as well as her loved ones. The comeback of Torrance Coomb's character Bash in "Reign" Season 4 has been expected since he will be the one to save Mary from being assassinated by her cousin Elizabeth.

According to reports, Queen Elizabeth will be using all the power under her command to devise her last attempt in Queen Mary's demise. "Reign" Season 4 will be deadly confrontational and will make fall out your seats. As neither of the two great and powerful monarchs is willing to give up their throne, this will be a season to look forward to.

However, as all stories start, it must come to an end. The assassination of Queen Mary may be the signal that Adelaide Kane will also be leaving the show. This may be also a way to pave for the new characters for Season 5. Insiders claimed that the production team is already working on a much bigger storyline for a possible "Reign" Season 5. The renewal for Season 5 will greatly depend on the television rating result of "Reign" Season 4.
