Mass Effect: Andromeda Updates and Rumors: New Details On The New Normandy, Dialogue System and World Leaked

The follow up to the hugely popular series, Mass Effect, Mass Effect: Andromeda is one of the most anticipated games today. First announced in 2015, Mass Effect: Andromeda, has fans clamoring for more details about the game. Details have been scarce at first but still give us clues on Mass Effect: Andromeda's gameplay and features.

One of the things that were first revealed about the of antagonist of the game. The alien race antagonist of Mass Effect: Andromeda is going to be known as the Kett and they will be fighting with the Pathfinder. Other details also state that the alien races of Mass Effect: Andromeda will have both races represented. This move will add a sense of realism to Mass Effect: Andromeda.

On the other hand, Bioware developer Mac Walters also shared some information on Mass Effect: Andromeda through a series of tweets. The first of which is how the Mass Effect: Andromeda's plans of expanding the world. He says that he loves "how much jump and verticality have improved the openness of our levels." For comparison, in the previous entries of the Mass Effect series, players do not posses the ability to jump. So this bit of information could lead to a new ability, players can use the explore Mass Effect's world. 

In addition, Mac also teased about the dialogue for Mass Effect: Andromeda. In one of his tweets, he said that they are tweaking the dialogue system. Already known for its, dialogue system, it seems that developers are looking to improve its system despite it being considered revolutionary in its time.

In other updates, gameinformer also gave gamers more details about Mass Effect: Andromeda, this time the ship that players will command and spend a considerable amount of time in the game. According to the report, the ship now called the Tempest, in Mass Effect: Andromeda, is similar in most ways in the Normandy, the ship from previous games.

Most of the ship's areas are lifted straight from the Normandy like the bridge, galley and vehicle garage. There are also no loading times when exploring the ship to make the experience more seamless and immersive. Also, to make it more immersive, windows are present throughout the ship showing the galaxy and the planets nearby.

It sounds like development for Mass Effect: Andromeda is going smoothly. If everything goes according to plan, we can expech Mass Effect: Andromeda to be available in spring 2017 on  Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
