‘Prison Break’ Season 5 Latest News and Spoilers: T-Bag’s Connection To Yemen Unveiled

After seven years of waiting, finally, the sequel to the much anticipated Fox's TV series' "Prison Break" is confirmed to be back this 2017. A lot of fans missed the thriller action brought by the escape plans of Scofield-Burrows brothers after its season 4 finale last 2009.

"Prison Break" Season 5 is expected to be more exciting and thrilling as the setting of the story takes place in Yemen prison. As seen in the spoiler released last August, everyone is curious on how Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) survived his near death in the last season. Sarah Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) will also be back on the show to help Michael escape in Yemen.

Dana Walden, Fox Co-Chairman and CEO, confirmed that "Prison Break" Season 5 will be a 10-episode series and there's a tendency that the title might be changed to "Heroes: Reborn", as written in the article of Mobile & Apps. She also added that the sequel will begin the story from where it was left in season 4.

Moreover, new characters will be added for the next season including Mark Feuerstein which will be played by Scot Ness, the third party in Sarah and Michael's relationship; a thief named Ja, played by Rick Yune, the role that will help Michael escape; Augustus Prew as Whip, Kunal Sharma as Sid, Armin El Gamal as Cyclops, and Marina Benedict as A & W.

According to Movie News Guide, T-Bag, along with the likes of Sucre and C-Note will play a big role in the upcoming season. Theodore Bagwell commonly known as T-Bag has malicious motive in revealing Michael's existence in Yemen to Sarah and Lincoln. As what they have predicted, he has unfinished business in the country and would like to save someone else who is also in the same prison as Scofield.
