‘Resident Evil 7’ News & Update: Collector's Edition Revealed; Pack Includes Creepy Miniature Mansion & Amputated Finger USB Drive

"Resident Evil 7" has been chosen to have its exclusive collector's edition package. This special pack comes with the game disc and few other collectible items.

Most probably, the most eye-catching item in the "Resident Evil 7" collector's exclusive is the miniature mansion. The structure is an exact replica of the Baker mansion and it measures 8 inches high and 7.5 inches wide.

The mansion has been designed to be a music box and it plays the sample version of "Resident Evil 7" main theme music entitled "Go Tell Aunt Rody." While the music plays in the background, an accompanying LED effects completes the creepy aura of the whole set-up.

Buyers of "Resident Evil 7" collector's package will also get the "Biohazard" game in metal disc case, 4GB USB drive in the shape of a mutilated dummy finger, a VHS tape box, lithograph featuring the Baker family and a creepy note. All of these are going to be encased in exclusive premium packaging.

"Resident Evil 7" players can choose between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of the collector's edition. Then again, as announced, this limited package is only available via GameStop where it will be sold for a steep price of $ 179.99.

It was learned that the "Resident Evil 7" collector's edition is a joint project of Project Triforce and Capcom. The latter is the same company that also created exclusive game packages for other popular games including "Battlefield" and "Halo."

The "Resident Evil 7" collector's edition is coming to GameStop store on Jan. 24, 2017. For buyers who are hoping for some DLCs as freebies in this package, there is still no announcement from Capcom regarding this.

Meanwhile, "Resident Evil 7" has been titled "Biohazard" and it is scheduled for worldwide release on Jan. 24, 2017 while Japanese gamers will get it on Jan. 26. The game is available for PC, Xbox One and PS4 which will feature full VR support.
