Brangelina Battle Continues: FBI Cleared Brad Pitt over Plane Incident; Letting Go of Marital Assets

It's official! Brad Pitt has been cleared on the charges filed against him stemming from an alleged dispute with his family on a private plane.

The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) has officially dropped the case filed against the 52-year-old actor, Brad Pitt who faced charges for allegedly losing his temper in front of one or more of his children in a private plane. It happened last September 14 when the ex-couple together with their children traveled from Europe to Los Angeles that made a refueling stop in Minnesota.

Five days after the incident, Angelina Jolie filed a divorce from Pitt citing irreconcilable differences and seeking full physical custody of their six children whose age ranges from 8 to 15. The couple was married for two years and had a relationship since 2005.

According to the sources of NBC News, the allegations were not validated through interviews with family members including the children. The news came out 11 days after the Los Angeles Country Department of Children and Family Services cleared Brad Pitt of the accusations of child abuse in connection to the incident happened last September.

The FBI spokeswoman, Laura Eimiller said in a statement, "The FBI has conducted a review of the circumstances and will not pursue further investigation. No charges have been filed in this matter."

Meanwhile, HNGN reports that the divorce of one of the Hollywood's most famous couple poses serious questions about their marital assets. Given the two-year marriage of Jolie and Pitt, some estimate that they will be sharing more than $500 million worth of combined cumulative earnings.

In the report of Los Angeles Times, one of the properties owned by the ex-couple is already for sale. The first on the list is their home in New Orleans which is being sold at $4.9 million. The 7,650 square feet property is the house they bought after Hurricane Katrina last 2007 in which they only bought for $3.5 million.

It is not clear yet whether there's a prenuptial agreement between the two, what is publicly known now is they are focusing more on how to resolve the sharing of custody over their kids.
