LG V30 Release Date, News & Update: Secondary Display Ditched, Not Functional? V20 With Android 7.0 Never To Come In Europe?

LG V30 will no longer come with a secondary display. Reports suggest that the company's next V series phone secondary display has been ditched due to complaints received from the LG V20 users. The V20 owners are claiming that the phone's secondary display is more of a gimmick than a functionality.

According to a leaker named Evan Blass, the phone manufacturer plans to drop the secondary display for LG V30. Based on reports, despite the company's attempt to implement a different feature to make the LG V30 stand out from other high-end smartphones in the market, it appears that not everyone is excited about a secondary display.

However, since the LG V30 is rumored to unveil next year in the fall, there are speculations that the South Korean company may still change some of its plans on LG V30. Meantime, the leaker also claims to have some early LG V30 renders that he has not posted yet.

In other news, LG has introduced the LG V20, which is the first smartphone to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat in the market. However, reports indicate that the company will not roll out the mobile device worldwide. Instead, the smartphone will only be available in South  Korea and the United States. This was due to the fact that LG believes that their current flagship will not be able to compete other smartphones in Europe, Softpedia reported.

Meanwhile, LG has reportedly been a bit different with the V series smartphones, given the fact that V10 was launched in South Korea and later in the US. However, the phone was not launched in any other countries. In fact, it was only made available in three of the four US carriers.

Later, LG V20 was revealed in September and was launched by the end of October. However, the smartphone is only launching in a few markets, and Europe is not included. Nevertheless, the company has reportedly trademarked "V20 S" in Europe, which prompts everyone to ask if the V20 variant is finally heading to European market, Android Headlines reported.
