'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' Latest News & Update: New DLCs Coming on December 20; Differences Between Free & Paid Versions Revealed [GAMEPLAY]
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be receiving its latest downloadable content on December 20. However, there would be two versions of the DLC-free and paid. Here, we are going to break down the differences between the two iterations.
The Free DLC
In spite of being free, a lot of new content actually comes with the Free DLC Pack for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." There is a new ability for SSGSS Goku called Awakened Kaioke X10. There would also be a new ability for Hit called Awakened Pure Progress. There would also be four new attacks and six new costumes.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will also receive a new in-game event called Frieza's Siege, along with a new Raid Quest that features Evil Yamcha. There would then be five new teachers, namely Bardock, Future Gohan, Android 16, Cooler, and Whis.
The Paid DLC
The Paid "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack, on the other hand, will be packing a lot more, in addition to the ones mentioned above. There would be two new playable characters, namely Cabbe and Frost. Cabbe will have the Super Saiyan Transformation, and Frost will have the Final Form.
Hit will also be a new Master in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" through the paid DLC. There would then be three new Parallel Quests, five additional attacks, two additional costumes, two emotes, and five Super Souls.
Bandai Namco has not revealed much about the specific contents of the upcoming "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLCs though. Many fans have been clamoring for the Black Goku costumes, hoping that it will be included in the Paid DLC Pack.
Also, Hit will be an additional mentor in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" through the Paid DLC Pack. However, his signature moves are already accessible through Shenron Wish. This means that if Bandai Namco is including Hit as a mentor, then he will be gaining new abilities to pass on as well.
