After a successful premiere, Amazon's "The Grand Tour" will feature a number of intense scenes and huge explosions in Season 1 Episode 2. A new trailer of "The Grand Tour" showed Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond driving up to the tent with a convoy of off-road trucks in Johannesburg, South Africa.
GTSpirit revealed that in "The Grand Tour" Season 1 Episode 1, titled "The Holy Trinity," Clarkson left London to meet Hammond and May in Los Angeles. The three men drove Ford Mustangs through the California desert towards Rabbit Dry Lake, together with several cars and a fly-over by the Breitling Jet Team.
Later in Portugal, the trio introduced the tent and then tested three hybrid hypercars -- namely a McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari and a Porsche 918. Clarkson betted that the McLaren P1 would win over the Porsche 918 and LaFerarri, but ended up losing to his companions in "The Grand Tour" Season 1 Episode 1.
Subsequently, Clarkson showed the new test track, called the Eboladrome, and did laps with a BMW M2 and Ferrari 488. So far, the debut of "The Grand Tour" was well-received by fans, becoming the most-watched premiere episode on the network.
AutoBlog stated that in the trailer of "The Grand Tour" Episode 2, titled "Operation Desert Stumble," a number of powerful vehicles were shown. Some of the scenes featured an Aston Martin Vulcan, a 7.0-liter V12 supercar with 820 horsepower, which may be tested at the Eboladrome.
James was shown in The Grand Tour" Season 1 Episode 2 riding a BMW E30, seemingly unwilling to join what appeared to be a drifting contest. Subsequently, the trio went to Jordan, where Hammond was shown playing with big knives.
Other scenes in "The Grand Tour" video included a car chase challenge involving luxury sedans and big SUVs. At one point, May sticks out of the car window of an Audi S8 and fires an assault rifle.
There were a number of big explosions in certain scenes too, hinting that the next episode of "The Grand Tour" will be exciting and dangerous. "The Grand Tour" Season 1 Episode 2 will air on Nov. 25, 2016 on Amazon Video. More updates and details on "The Grand Tour" are expected soon.
