Recent reports speculated that "Steven Universe" season four may be the last episode for the series. A list of episode titles was released and it showed only until "Three Gems and a Baby" was lodged with a title. Will there still be episodes after the one?
Approaching the release of the "Steven Universe" season four latest episode this coming Dec. 1, 2016, it has been speculated that it may be the last episode of the series. Although Cartoon Network has been mum about this possibility, a recently released episode guide only depicted "Three Gems and A Baby" as the last titled episode, reported iTech Post.
For the meantime, the only detail released by the network was that concerning the expectations for "Steven Universe" season four's latest episode, "Three Gems and a Baby." The report read that the episode will be a throwback on the first winter Greg and Steven had.
As per storyline of the show, Steven was born during the winter season and the episode will feature younger versions of him and his dad to tell a thorough story of his young life. Since the episode is a blast from the past, it was also deemed a possibility that Rose Quartz will appear on the said episode.
On other news, Chatt Sports Net reported that the series is in danger of getting cancelled by the network. As its immigration-themed storyline had been controversial in relation to the Donald Trump election turnouts, the cancellation was deemed to be a great possibility.
Furthermore, Cartoon Network also manifested that "Steven Universe" episode "Gem Harvest" also showed Steven's uncle, Andy, being complacent towards immigrants or foreigners entering their circle. This was deemed to be a manifestation of Trump's political views that paved the way to a possible cancellation.
At present, "Steven Universe" season four is expected to air its upcoming episode this coming Dec. 1, 2016. Will it be the show's last? Will the Donald Trump issue strike possible future seasons down?
