'Death Stranding' Release Date, Gameplay, News & Update: ‘Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain’ Fox Engine Out; Hideo Kojima To Use New Engine
After the dreary months of waiting, Kojima Productions released news and insights for the much-awaited video game, "Death Stranding". It was during the E3 2016 conference in June that we last heard about Hideo Kojima's project game.
Recent updates about the development of "Death Stranding" leaked online, thanks to game news insider Shinobi602. According to the insider's reports, Kojima has been searching for the right game engine to use for this upcoming project since he can no longer use the Fox Engine in "Metal Gear."
Fans are hoping for Kojima to join PlayStation Experience to reveal more about "Death Stranding" aside from attending the Game Awards 2016. This is likely since the two events are just days and minutes-drive away.
The E3 2016 trailer for "Death Stranding" revealed footage of live and dead animals alike, with cords attached to them, some floating entities from afar and "The Walking Dead's" Norman Reedus cradling a baby. This didn't do any help to fans in preparing for what's next about the game. With the vague and bizarre trailer released, gamers from all over the world are excited to find more information about the gameplay. But definitely, "Death Stranding will showcase Kojima's storytelling skills."
While the gameplay is not clearly revealed just yet, game insider Shinobi602 reports that "Death Stranding" will not be utilizing the Sucker Punch engine as Kojima did in "Infamous: Second Son". But some fans showed worries on news of Kojima developing a new engine since the same occasion cause the delay of "Metal Gear Solid V" and wishes he'd just use an already pre-made engine for this new game.
"Death Stranding," an open world video game under Sony, will be exclusively launched for PS4. No confirmed release date as of the moment and only a few information has been revealed. Hopefully, more details will be announced during PlayStation Experience happening on December 3 to 4 at Anaheim Convention Center, California.
