'The Originals' Season 4 Crossovers From 'The Vampire Diaries'
While "The Vampire Diaries" comes to an end in season 8, fans may still some of the characters when "The Originals" season 4 airs next year. TV Line confirmed exclusively that Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis) will visit New Orleans. The report also confirmed what episode Alaric will appear. Expect to see him in the eighth episode of "The Originals" season 4.
The crossover to "The Originals" season 4 will see Alaric deliver an important artifact to Elijah (Daniel Gillies). Some believe that this could mean the character may still for good. This led to speculations that Caroline (Candice King) will soon follow. This will pave the way for Klause Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) and Caroline to reunite as what many fans are hoping per previous reports.

Future Crossovers From 'The Vampire Diaries'
While this isn't the first time a character appeared in "The Vampire Diaries" spinoff, Alaric Saltzman will reportedly become a regular in "The Originals" season 4. In fact, this is the fourth time a character from "TVD" appeared in the spinoff series with Michael Trevino paving the way for others to do the same.
However, it remains unknown the entirety of Alaric's role in "The Originals" season 4. There are various possibilities how Alaric will be integrated into the series. For one, he may be connected with Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) mission in finding the cure for the Mikaelsons. Alaric may also be tied with the new characters set to make their debut next season.
