MacBook Pro 2016: Release Date, News & Update: Once Again, Device Adds Another Worry To Fans?

MacBook Pro 2016 users reportedly complained about the inability to configure the computer to include 32GB of RAM. While the Apple device's 16GB of RAM has been said to be just enough for most  computers, some experts believe that spec-geeks would want more.

The MacBook Pro 2016 includes 16GB of LPDDR memory up to 2133MHz. This means that supporting a 32GB of memory would need a high-powered DDR memory and a different logic board design. Given such, the space for batteries will be reduced, and that both factors would also reduce the battery life on MacBook Pro 2016. However, reports have indicated that Apple could prevent this by using a newer memory type - the LPDDR4.

Considering how the memory and processor work together, the use of LPDDR4 on MacBook Pro 2016 would mean supporting the processors that power the systems. But reports suggest that the processor used in MacBook Pro 2016 computers, both Intel's current sixth-gen and seventh-gen Core processors, do not support LPDDR4.

Given that, the new MacBook Pro 2016 is left with an older LPDDR3 technology. Although some believe that Intel's eight-gen Core processor would support LPDDR4 by lifting the limit imposed by LPDDR3 on memory size, recent leaks of Intel's next-gen Core processors indicate otherwise.

As such, MacBook Pro 2016 users may have to wait for Apple to use the Coffee Lake, which is believed to be a processor family known as Ice Lake, for LPDDR4 support. This means that they have to make use of MacBook Pro 2016's 32GB of RAM until the much-awaited chips come out, according to Fool.

Meanwhile, the new 13-inch MacBook Pro 2016 is currently offered with a $100 drop from the regular price at the Wirecutter as an early holiday treat. The 2016 non-Touch Bar MacBook Pro 2016 is also reported to be the next pick in the store's guide on which MacBook computer to buy.

As previously reported, the non-Touch Bar MacBook Pro 2016 uses the 12-inch size and weight of the computer as well as  the connectivity and performance of the MacBook Pro 2016, Engadget reported. Watch New MacBook Pros Not Offering 32GB RAM Due to Battery Life, According to Apple
