'One Piece' Chapter 848 Release Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Chapter to Focus on Lola's Back Story? Sanji's Wedding May Finally Happen [Predictions]

Chapter 847 of "One Piece" revealed one of the biggest shockers for Nami as she found out from Big Mom herself that Lola is no longer welcome to return to her own family. Spoilers for chapter 848 reveal that Lola's back story may be further explained.

When Big Mom confronted Luffy and Nami through a snail-sponder earlier, she revealed her bitter sentiments towards her daughter who escaped a planned marriage. The wedding was supposed to give more power to the Charlotte clan. According to the report, "One Piece" chapter 848 may give fans further details about how Lola ran away from the said wedding.

It appears that Big Mom is trying to get all of her daughters to tie the knot so she can reach her goal of becoming the Pirate King. However, Lola, who happens to have become Nami's friend, is one of her brave children who stood up against the Charlotte matriarch's desires. It is said that Lola was supposed to marry someone from the clan of the Giants but she refused and left Whole Cake Island. The escape plans that Lola executed in the past are expected to be unveiled in "One Piece" chapter 848.

Meanwhile, fans are expecting to see wedding ceremonies between Sanji and Pudding soon. It is believed that in "One Piece" chapter 848, the highly anticipated wedding will finally take place without any interventions from the Straw Hats.

As seen earlier, Big Mom promised that she would set Luffy and Nami free if Sanji and Pudding's wedding will happen minus all the ruckus that the Straw Hats are planning to bring. Sanji appears to have been forced to agree with the deal so he might push through with marrying Pudding in "One Piece" chapter 848 for the sake of his friends. Luffy and Nami are still behind bars, while Pekoms and Pedro are still in hiding. This means the plan to get Sanji out of Whole Cake Island have been halted for now, and it could also mean that Sanji will have to wed Pudding.

As for Carrot and Chopper, who are still locked up in Brulee's world, things may lighten up a bit. Fans speculate that in "One Piece" chapter 848, the two will escape Brulee's Mirror World and proceed to help Luffy and the others. However, Chopper will first have to break the chains that bind him so Carrot can be saved from being cooked up in Brulee's pot.

"One Piece" chapter 848 is expected to be released sometime this week. Watch the video below for a recap of chapter 847.
