‘American Horror Story’ Season 7 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Show Now Ending; Ryan Murphy Struggles To Produce Original Idea?

The previous season of "American Horror Story" may seem a deep exploration of the show's past seasons. Indeed, it makes noise for its unpredicted storyline but its ending is quite monotonous. With that, there are some believe that "American Horror Story" Season 7 will be the anthology's final offering.

According to Movie Pilot, it looks like Ryan Murphy runs out of original idea thus "American Horror Story" Season 6 is a retell of the past events. Although the show is already renewed, there are strong hearsays that "American Horror Story" Season 7 might be the last.

However, as it looks like Ryan Murphy is having a hard time to produce original material; the next "American Horror Story" Season 7 may resume the story of the first season's "Murder House." The 2011 installment is said to have the best characters and they all have the potential for a retelling.

In fact, they could all have individual stories to tell in "American Horror Story" Season 7. One of the most distinct characters remembered from "Murder House" is Tate.

Tate is believed to be a sociopath. But the reason why he shot all the kids at the school that day remained a mystery and it could be a good story to tell in "American Horror Story" Season 7.

Meanwhile, North State Journal noted that "American Horror Story" Season 6 brought the story of the Lost Colony once again. The murderous ghosts, a cannibalistic family and a reality show-like theme definitely brought the show in a new direction, but it didn't directly explore what happened to the Roanoke Island.

Will it be featured in "American Horror Story" Season 7? The archeologist of the First Colony Foundation Eric Deetz revealed that "American Horror Story" Season 6's take on the Roanoke Island is just one of the few retelling of what really happened in the Roanoke Island.

"But something so far-fetched as a ghost story on a cable TV network, just have fun with it. It should be a win-win," he said. It looks like fans will be in another mind-puzzling quest when "American Horror Story" Season 7 comes in 2017.
