'World Of Warcraft' Latest News & Update: 'WOW' Secret Legendary Softcap Installed, Then Removed?

There have been a lot of speculations among players of "World of Warcraft" recently. Gamers noticed an unseen cap on the number of Legendaries each character is guaranteed to obtain with the aid of bad luck protection. According to players, they suspect it to be cap 4.

"World of Warcraft" game director Ion Hazzikostas admitted to Blizzard that, indeed, there exists a legendary softcap. He further explained why it was placed there and then removed without notification on the patch notes. As the name suggests, the Bad Luck Protection System is there to protect the unfortunate gamers from the fate of the dice.

Players of the "World of Warcraft" who are on the other side of the scale in terms of good fortune did not need a system to aid them further ahead. He added that they have drawn the line at four legendaries. Initially, the company was planning to raise the legendaries as time passes. As the player achieves four, he is entitled to get more. The invisible hand of Bad Luck Protection, however, will no longer help the player but will apply indefinitely, the game director concluded.

The "World of Warcraft" director's message came after one of the top raiding guilds named Exorsus pointed out the softcap. The group claimed, according to MMORPG, that the softcap was placed to cut edge raiders and level numerous characters of the same class. The group also argued that recruiting has become almost impossible. At present, such a softcap is non-existent and will lead raiders to do idiotic things. Among them are giving players four terrible legendaries, or four legendaries for fire spec and they become useless. As a reminder, in "World of Warcraft," no matter how many Legendaries a character has, still only 2 can be equipped at any given time.
