It seems that fans of "The Divergent Series Ascendant" are in for a bad news after reports of a breakup made round on the Internet. Theo James and Shailene Woodley allegedly called it quits and decided to leave the franchise on the last installment.
Turns out that James and Woodley are devastated after rumors of making the last installment into a TV movie reached them. Both stars allegedly aim for the bigger spotlight in Hollywood, thus pushing for the last title to be aired on the big screen. Otherwise, they just won't take the project anymore.

'The Divergent Series: Ascendant' Cancelled
It was previously reported that an alleged feud between Theo James and Shailene Woodley cancels the fourth installment "The Divergent Series: Ascendant." While earlier speculations said that the main reason for not giving the green signal was the pale box office sales of the third installment "Allegiant," there are others saying that a feud between the two lead cast caused the series get canceled.
The alleged feud between "The Divergent Series: Ascendant" lead stars was so great that the last title had to be canceled. This came after James turned down the offer to reprise his role for the last installment. This move started the bad blood between Woodley and James.
As a result, Woodley decided to leave "The Divergent Series: Ascendant" as well. However, Lionsgate hasn't confirmed its final plans for the last title of the franchise.
