It looks like Nokia will try to regain its rightful place as one of the top phone distributors this coming 2017? MDB Global, the new firm that bought the Nokia license, has just confirmed its comeback for MWC 2017 this February 2017. This is the exact same time where the Galaxy 8 is also expected to have its debut.

According to Mobile World Congress, the company's official website has recently been updated to show HMD will be attending the event, though the company still hasn't disclosed any information as to how many phones will be unveiled at the MWC 2017 event. There had been speculations that the D1C device is one of the phones that will be released by Nokia, which was recently proven wrong as the latest leak suggest that the product seems to look more like a tablet than a phone.

However, some are still confident enough to say that the D1C device is actually a smartphone, which is believed to have a 5.5-inch Full HD display and may even come with mid-range internals as well. Nokia still hasn't released its list of handsets or gadgets that will be unveiled at the event, but expect things to be grand is the event will mark Nokia's return to the smartphone battle. According to Trusted Reviews, there had been reports that Nokia is working on at least four new Android devices which was previously announced to be arriving by the end of the year, Forbes reported.

HMD will be spearheading Nokia's comeback in the MWC 2017 event in Barcelona on February 27, 2017, up until March 2, 2017. Other companies such as Samsung will also be at the event and will be unveiling their Samsung Galaxy s8. Nokia fans are excited about the latest Nokia smartphone lineup. The company was one of the leading phone manufacturers before the smartphones became widely popular around the world.
