BenQ Zowie XL2540 Latest News & Updates: 240Hz Refresh Rate Special Feature Launched For Rs. 45,000; No IPS Included?

BenQ Zowie XL2540 was launched last Nov.28 with Rs 45,000 in India. One of the best features of this gaming monitor was the refresh rate of 240Hz, aiming to give every gamer a better gaming experience.

BenQ Zowie XL2540 has 24.5 inches TN display panel along with 1920 x 1080p full HD display together with the impressive 240 Hz. It was considered the highest Hz a monitor could have with 240fps. Adding the low grey to grey (GTG) 1 millisecond response time and brightness up to 400nits. Aside from these contents, BenQ included the so-called Shield Feature which can adopt different environment through an adjustable angle and removable display.

According to the company, BenQ Zowie XL2540 has a Black eQualizer monitor feature that has the capacity to enhance the clarity of dark scenes without overexposing the bright areas. Color Vibrance settings with 20 levels for preferences of gameplay and reduced light reflection of LCD frame were included in the monitor's specs. When it comes to physical appearance, BenQ Zowie XL2540's monitor was adjustable on height and angle. It has a built removable-stand design for easy assembly purposes and a monitor that can rotate or tilt in 90 degrees. In addition, the gaming monitor carries headphone jack, 2 HDMI ports, microphone jack, 1 DPI.2 port, and 1 DVI-DL port.

However, IPS technology was not included in the gaming monitor since it will use TN panel. It was a little disappointing since IPS can give better viewing angles for the gamers. But for some players, performance speed was more important. Reducing reflection was usually happening with TN screens and has the capability to automatically secure your privacy were the reason why BenQ decided to use TN Panel in their BenQ Zowie XL2540.
