'Battlerite' Latest News & Update: 'Battlerite' Is Free To Play This Weekend, 25% Discount On Game Purchase

"Battlerite" has been a hit since it entered into Steam's Early Access program in September. The game is dubbed as the spiritual heir of "MOBA Bloodline Champions." The famous game is now free to play starting December 1 until December 4.

"Battlerite" has gained its popularity since it was launched on Steam and has actually accumulated 200,000 players. In an interview with the game's Creative Director Martin Lovgren, PCGamer quoted him saying that the reception of the players for the game is really amazing. He added that the team knew they had a good game that they enjoy. He said that when people tried the game out and gave positive feedback, they finally believed it. The director further said that they have doubts on how well the game will be received on Steam at first.

"Battlerite" creative team focused a lot to make the game noticeable at the unveiling date of Early Access. The game has almost 6,000 reviews on Steam and 95 percent of the reviews are all positive. The game is a PvP game and the successor of the critically commended game, "Bloodline Champions." It is a combination of a fast-paced combat game and a top down shooter which include 2v2 and 3v3 combats.

"Battlerite's" minimum system requirements include Windows 7 or newer for the operating system. The processor must be dual core either Intel or AMD at 2.8 GHz. In addition Memory available must be at least 2 GB RAM. For graphics, Battlerite requires Intel HD 3000 and Direct X must be of version 9.0c. The game requires a network specifically that of broadband internet connection. Storage must be at least 1500 MB of available space and the sound card must be Direct X compatible.

On December 1 until December 4, "Battlerite" is free to try on Steam. The game is also running a 25 percent discount. The creative director said that players must use this opportunity to invite friends who have shown an interest in "Battlerite," he concluded.
