Microsoft's Xbox One may have outperformed PlayStation 4 on its sales last Black Friday, but new data shows that PlayStation 4 outperformed Xbox One for Cyber Monday. Sony's PS4 even ended November as the best-selling console for the month, ending Xbox One's 4-month winning streak.
According to International Business Times, Xbox One managed to outsell the PS4, ending up as the fifth bestselling electronic products last Black Friday. The only other products that outsold Microsoft's console flagship were Samsung 4K TVs, iPads, MacBook Pro, and LG TVs.
The first Monday after Thanksgiving is considered as the biggest online shopping event in the United States. Based on the reports done by Adobe's Digital insights, PlayStation 4 clearly won the competition and outperformed Xbox One sales across the country. The data also shows that Xbox One's sales report did not go as planned and also finished second next to Sony's PlayStation 4.
Looking at this month's entire sales report, PlayStation 3 was able to keep its pace which helped them end up as this month's best selling console. Meanwhile, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" were considered as the best selling game for this month, which was followed by "Call of Duty".
According to GameSpot, the Adobe report was based on the anonymous and aggregated data gathered from 22.6 billion visits to the retail sites across the country. Adobe also claims that it measured up to 80 percent of all online transactions from the country's 100 leading retailers.
Microsoft's Xbox One held the title of being the best-selling gaming console in the country for four straight months. The month still hasn't ended yet. But if Adobe reports are accurate, then Sony's PlayStation 4 might just break Xbox One's winning streak and may just end up as the No.1 console for the month of November.
