iPad Mini 5 Release Date, News & Update: AKA iPad Mini Pro Will Be Preloaded With Latest iOS; Larger Batt Capacity Coming?

The iPad Mini 5 may be released with a new name, the iPad Mini Pro. Apple is reportedly phasing out the Air Series and will concentrate its efforts more on the Pro lineup so an iPad Mini Pro is more likely to be expected.

Avid supporters of Apple's products and tech analysts await Apple's September event where the tech giant is expected to launch their latest devices. The iPad Mini 5 or the iPad Mini Pro was expected to be revealed in the event alongside the iPhone 7.

Rumors have been circulating about the iPad Mini 5. However, Apple remained in silence without giving a clue about the specs of any of their upcoming devices. However, certain reports give hints that the company may reveal the iPad Mini 5 with minor revamps similar to every other iPad launched by Apple, and it is said to be beefing up their latest flagship handset, Travelers Today reported.

Meanwhile, the iPad Mini 5 could come out looking more slender than ever as it is rumored to shred a millimeter off compared to its 6.1-millimeter predecessor. It is reportedly backed up by a more rigid aluminum back panel in order to reinforce its slimmer rendition.

The report also added that Apple was able to finish its beta tests on their latest operating system (OS) for its mobile devices dubbed as the iOs 10. It may be that the iPad Mini 5 will also be preloaded with the latest OS.

iPad Mini 5 will reportedly sport a quicker A9 chipset that will include the Oscar M9 motion co-processor to get faster response times when switching between screens. The iPad Mini 5 may also have a larger battery capacity than its previous version that had only 5,000mAh juice storage. A 32GB base variant may also be in store. Watch video about Apple iPad Mini 5: Release Date, Specs, Rumors: Thinner, Stronger here:
