EA finally confirms the coming of "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" again and teased that it is set to fix the major problems its predecessor has. The sequel will be a new and improved version of the first title and, of course, fans are now more excited this time.
"Star Wars: Battlefront" received a mix of negative and positive reviews and EA promised to fix everything it can in "Star Wars: Battlefront 2." One of the most complaint parts of the original game is it lacks to have a lot of contents.
With that, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen asserted that the video game company's development team is now focusing on fixing these issues in "Star Wars: Battlefront 2." "If there was criticism, they just wanted more. So we're taking that criticism to heart as we build the next game and trying to address any of the issues that they had," he said, per GameRanx.
Moreover, Jorgensen also teased that "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" will be much bigger and larger compared to other "Star Wars" game. The much-awaited title, too, will explore the new movies from the franchise including "Star Wars: Episode 7" and "Star Wars: Episode 8."
Adding the two latest films of "Star Wars" in "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" will give EA the opportunity to make it bigger as Jorgensen added. "We're looking forward to bringing to the table next year a much bigger, much more exciting Battlefront. This year we'll have the opportunity to leverage content from the new movies and we think that will make the opportunities much larger."
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" may feature a new story mode for single-player mode. One of the gamers' complaints includes the lack of "Star Wars Battlefront" to present the original "Star Wars" story on its gameplay.
Also, fans are eyeing to see the addition of "Clone Wars" in "Star Wars: Battlefront 2." Although EA has yet to announce the official release date of "Star Wars: Battlefront 2," it is expected to be out in Fall of 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
