An all new "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" trailer was featured at the recently concluded Game Awards. The new walkthrough trailer introduced the character of Link, discovering the vast regions of the game. Riding his trusty horse, Link's journey was able to provide fans with well rendered open world sceneries.
The second trailer was introduced by Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime. The second trailer of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" started its stream with game director Eiji Aonuma apologizing for not being able to join the show. It was less of an introduction, but a more exciting presentation of the Treehouse and the Nintendo localization arm playing the game on Wii U.
The second trailer significantly introduced the gameplay of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild". It featured Link slashing through the wild, with the Treehouse gamers making sure, they are able to showcase Link's full arsenal weapon.
"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is slated to launch in 2017. Unfortunately, no specific date has been given for the title. The Game Awards apparently paved the way for the arrival of the game; featuring it in a massive platform that largely attracts the attention of players worldwide.
Meanwhile, some of the results of The Game Awards, which was held on December 1, 2016 include Overwatch (Game of the Year), Best Mobile/Handheld Game (Pokémon Go), Best VR Game (Rez Infinite), Best Action Game (Doom), Best Role-Playing Game (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Blood and Wine), Best Fighting Game (Street Fighter V), Best Family Game (Pokémon Go), Most Anticipated Game (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild) and Industry Icon Award that went to Hideo Kojima.
