Season 6 of "Game of Thrones" ended with an explosive finale, as Cersei (Lena Headey) killed off almost half of the major characters in order to gain control of Westeros. Since she ended up killing her son Tommen (Dean Charles Chapman) in the process, she now is the ruler of the kingdom, which is what she wanted from the very beginning of the show. Though Turner did not give any spoilers regarding who Sansa will be dealing with for "Game of Thrones" season 7, she explained that this will surely bring some interesting storylines. "She's seemingly in control for the first time - and it really suits her. She's kind of having a bit of a power trip. But she's also becoming more insecure, because there are threats to the power that she holds," she said.
Fan Theories On Sansa's Transformation
Reddit users have also been creating their own speculations as to how Sansa will evolve in "Game of Thrones" season 7. Many believe that the Stark daughter is ready to bring revenge to all those who have done her family wrong. Along with the spoilers that have been revealed regarding Sansa's development, some fans theorize that Sansa could transform into somebody like Cersei. The Reddit thread pointed out that Sansa had a past of manipulation as well, which could be a foreshadowing for her character's villainous ways.
