Nina Dobrev as Catwoman?
Nina Dobrev told CinePOP that she would primarily want to play Wonder Woman. However, Gal Gadot is already playing the role and is about to release her own standalone movie. Nina Dobrev shared that she does not know much about comic books, but she would also like to play Catwoman if given the chance.
Catwoman, or Selina Kyle, is a sexy and cunning cat burglar who is adept in seduction. She even toyed with Bruce Wayne in the comics. Although the next Batman film is already in the works, Catwoman will allegedly be absent in the cast. This means that it may take a while before Nina Dobrev fans get to see her wear a leather suit.
In the meantime, Nina Dobrev is preparing for the big launch of "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage," where she stars with Diesel and Michael Bisping. The three were in Brazil to meet fans and answer questions about the movie and their upcoming projects.
Other cast members include Donnie Yen, DeepikaPadukone, Ruby Rose, Tony Jaa, Conor McGregor, Kris Wu, Hermione Corfield, Toni Collette and Samuel L. Jackson. The "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" is being directed by D.J. Caruso, while Chad St. John and F. Scott Frazier wrote the script.
'xXx: The Return of Xander Cage' New Plot and Boss
ComicBook stated that "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" is the third chapter of the blockbuster spy thriller franchise, featuring Xander Cage (Vin Diesel), an extreme athlete who became a government agent. In the upcoming movie, Cage will be going against the ultimate warrior Xiang (Donnie Yen) and his men to recover a mysterious and powerful weapon called the Pandora's Box. Cage will be working with his own unique group of people as well to unravel secrets in world governments.
"xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" will launch in the United Kingdom first on Jan. 20, 2017. The film will arrive in the United States on January 20. More updates and details on Nina Dobrev and the high-octane film are expected soon.
