Fans are excited to see Dru, the minions and the girls back for another round of adventures in "Despicable Me 3." The latest installment, which is slated to premiere in 2017, will feature new characters such as Dru, Gru's twin brother, and Balthazar Bratt, the new villain.
The story of "Despicable Me 3" is expected to revolve around the sibling rivalry of Gru and Dru. From the Minions' loyalty to the Girls' affection, even to making Mrs. Lucy Gru laugh, the brothers will be fighting tooth and nail just to accomplish it first, according to reports. The brothers will be so consumed of the sibling rivalry that when the villain Balthazar Bratt enters the scene, he will be using the brothers' rivalry to capture them. Balthazar Bratt, the new villain for "Despicable Me 3", wants to take over the world as a vengeance for canceling his show in the 80's.
"Despicable Me 3" wouldn't be a complete show without the Minions especially Kevin, Bob, and Stuart giving us a good laugh with their quirkiness and very lovable personality. The girls Miranda, Edith, and Agnes will also be present to show the Gru siblings the importance of family and the real meaning of "blood is thicker than water." They will also continue to be Gru's inspiration to do and remain good. The wife of Gru, Lucy Wilde-Gru, will also be part of the cast and she will continue to support Gru in his endeavors to do good.
Dru Gru, will look exactly like Felonious Gru except he will have a very nice blonde hair and he's trademark suit is all white. Steve Carell will be voicing both Gru and Dru in "Despicable Me 3." The new villain, Balthazar Bratt, will be voiced by Trey Parker, the creator of South Park. Bratt will be sporting an 80's fashion sense complete with the mustache according to sources.
