Google Pixel Release Date, News & Update: Way Better Than iPhone 6s, iPhone 7? How To Get Pixel XL For Free Every Sunday!

Google Pixel is said to outsmart the latest Apple flagship smartphones. Apparently, Google was able to make a lighter and smaller phone with a better grip than the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7. Moreover, the resolution and speed on the Google Pixel is reportedly in contrast with the iPhone.

It has been noted that the iPhone 6s Plus weighs 192 grams. Additionally, the iPhone 7 Plus weighs at 188 grams. By contrast, the Google Pixel XL weighs only 168 grams. However, the Google Pixel is reportedly not only lighter, it is also said to be smaller than the iPhone. The Google Pixel, however has a screen-to-bezel ratio of 71.2 percent compared to the iPhone's 67.7 percent.

Google Pixel is also said to display rich and highly contrasting colored photos on the device. Note that the iPhone incorporates an LCD display. On the other hand, the Google Pixel sports the sharper AMOLED screen that reportedly outperforms the Retina display on the iPhone. Additionally, the iPhone 7 Plus has a 1080p screen while the Google Pixel packs a sharper 1440p screen, Business Insider reported.

The Google Pixel also comes with a glass inlay on the back that makes for a better grip than the iPhone. Interestingly, the Google Pixel XL was tested for speed of charging along with the iPhone resulting in a nearly 100 percent charging after two hours leaving the iPhone 7 Plus lagging at 72 percent. However, note that the Galaxy S7 was the fastest with a total charging time of one hour and 29 minutes.

Google Pixel XL is known to feature a 5.5 inch Quad HD AMOLED display. Furthermore, the Google Pixel XL runs the Snapdragon 821 with 4GB of RAM and 3,450mAh battery. Additionally, a 12MP shooter with laser autofocus and phase detection has been added.  Interestingly, the Google Assistant has also been included on the Google Pixel XL.
