Android 7.0 Nougat is reportedly rolling out bug fixes and updates on the unlocked versions of the HTC One M9. HTC Mo Versi reportedly announced the OS update on the handset via Twitter. In addition, the specs of the HTC One M9 packed with the Android 7.0 Nougat reportedly make it the cheapest bargain deal.
Previously, the HTC 10 users already got the Android 7.0 Nougat update. It has further been announced that both the unlocked versions of the One M9 and the One A9 will be getting Android 7.0 Nougat this month. On that note, HTC revealed that the Android 7.0 Nougat was coming to the One M9.
The big rollout apparently happened hours after the Android 7.0 Nougat HTC Twitter announcement. However, note that the rollout may not happen all at once for all users. It should be noted that several One M9 users may need to manually get the Android 7.0 Nougat in the Settings of their handset.
Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to be a big leap for the One M9. Currently, the handset runs the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Note that users need to give up the Marshmallow trend fully for the new Nougat update. Specifically, One M9 users are expected to get better Doze Mode with extended battery life and multi-window features as well, Android Headlines reported.
