Scooter Braun In Twitter War After Piers Morgan Criticizes Beckhams Over Debut Christmas Single Of 11-Year-Old Cruz Touted As Next Justin Bieber

A Twitter war has erupted between broadcaster Piers Morgan and talent manager Scooter Braun after Morgan criticized Victoria and David Beckham. The couple promoted the debut Christmas single of their 11-year-old son Cruz Beckham, touted as the next Justin Bieber.

Piers Morgan accused the parents of Cruz Beckham – whose song “If Every Day Was Christmas” got 60,000 likes immediately on Instagram – of encouraging their son to pursue a singing career for the money. The broadcaster stressed he has nothing against the boy whom he encouraged to study instead and not use his parents’ fame but said he has issues against Victoria and David Beckham, The Telegraph reports.

Justin Bieber’s 1st Manager

Scooter Braun, who signed Justin Bieber at age 13 when the Canadian aspirant was still an unknown and transformed him into a big star, defended Cruz Beckham. He tweeted that the boy has good intentions in launching his first single and added, “Once again Piers shows why he is a jackass and why his show was cancelled.”

The single of Cruz Beckham is selling on Apple Music for $1.29. The beneficiary of the sales of “If Every Day Was Christmas” is the charity Make Some Noise, Mashable reports. The charity aims to help young people by supporting disabled and sick youth and those who lack opportunity in life.

Using Kids To Line Pocket

But Piers Morgan retorted that Scooter Braun is a hypocrite for “using a kid to line his pockets” again. He added the manager should not pretend he is helping Cruz Beckham, rather, Scooter Braun’s aim is to promote Brand Beckham and become rich on another young kid’s back.

However, Scooter Braun shot back and noted that while Piers Morgan would not support Cruz Beckham, the broadcaster gets paid for judging kids auditioning with “Britain’s Got Talent.” The U.S. editor-at-large of Mail Online replaced Simon Cowell as a judge on “America’s Got Talent” in 2006 and became a judge on “Britain’s Got Talent” in 2007.

Besides Cruz Beckham, his older siblings too have careers of their own before turning 18. Elder sister Brooklyn, 17, will release in 2017 a book on photography. Older brother Romeo, 14, has been working the past two years as a model for brands such as Burberry.
