Ahead of the debut of the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” official trailer on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Thursday night, a photo of Tom Holland wearing the new Spider-Man costume has surfaced. More information about his character Peter Parker and the film’s villain came with the image.
The photo came from an unused concept art from “Captain America: Civil War” which showed Tony Spark giving Peter Parker a message asking him to go to Avengers Tower for his upgraded costume. The scene showing Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) delivering the high-tech costume is the opening video of the trailer preview of “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”

Movieweb adds that besides the costume upgrade, spoilers for the movie set for release on July 7, 2017, identified Adrian Toomes, aka Vulture (Michael Keaton), as the primary villain in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” Unlike old superhero movies when the protagonist was almost perfect and invincible, Peter Parker in “Spider-Man: Homecoming” learns and makes major mistakes, Tom Holland says.
