‘Vikings' Season 4 Episode 13 Spoilers: Will Ivar the Boneless Die? Alex Hogh Dishes on Ivar's Fate

"Vikings" Season 4 Episode 13 will reveal if Ivar the Boneless is dead following the cliffhanger in Episode 12, "The Vision." Actor Alex Hogh confirmed his character is alive, since Ivar still has to go into a journey with Ragnar Lothbrok.

Ivar the Boneless is still very much alive in "Vikings" Season 4 Episode 13, "Two Journeys." The trailer for next Wednesday's episode shows the crippled on a dangerous journey with his father Ragnar Lothbrok. Ivar's journey with his father puts his life in danger, since Ragnar is a wanted man.

However, "Vikings" Season 4 Episode 13 is not the end for Ivar the Boneless. Actor Alex Hogh dished on his character's fate in the remaining half of the season in an interview with Screener TV. He confirmed that Ivar remains alive long enough to prove his worth as a Viking.

"Later episodes in this season will see Ivar suited in armor and riding a chariot into war," Hogh said.

Of course, Ivar the Boneless has Ragnar Lothbrok to thank, for helping him become a "normal" man. Ragnar will push Ivar to do more than he can. Ragnar discredits the fact that his son is a cripple. He does not want Ivar to use his physical disability as a hindrance and reason for him not to succeed.

"He's forcing him, in a way, to do more than he already does," Alex Hogh further told Screener TV.

Regardless, Ragnar Lothbrok uses Ivar the Boneless' physical disability to good use in "Vikings" Season 4 Episode 13. Ragnar needs to enter the Royal Villa in Wessex, but he has no other men left to battle alongside him in case trouble happens. Instead, he tells Ivar to act as a cripple, so the men would not feel threatened by him. Ivar walks on all fours as he and Ragnar Lothbrok approaches the gate.
