She wants to keep it extra special for her friends by making sure that the event will be successful. During the previous episode called "Es Good," Jess and Robby, who's played by Nelson Franklin, decided to make their relationship casual. On the other hand, Cece (Hannah Simone) and Winston (Lamorne Morris) are arguing about being in a relationship.
Jess got disappointed later on when Robby went on a date with someone else, even though she agreed on a non-label status. Eventually, both of them agreed on going out for a double date. On the other hand, "New Girl" season 6, episode 10 will also feature Winston (Lamorne Morris) getting Cece (Hannah Simone) a gift online but starts to worry if his gift will arrive late, so he ended up rushing to the actual store with his friend, Schmidt (Max Greenfield).
The teaser also showed Megan Fox's appearance on the show. She is Raegan and she will be playing as Nick's long-distance girlfriend. Jess ended up calling her because Nick ended up buying the gift that Jess is planning to give her, so in panic she called Raegan and asked her to come as a last-minute Santa gift for Nick. Megan Fox even ended up dressing up for the part.
However, Jess will end up not receiving a gift for herself on Christmas, and her friends will try to cheer her up.
