Although "Reign" Season 4 is sure to come back early next year, avid followers are still hoping for another season. Now, new reports are claiming that for the finale season, showrunners are bringing some of the old favorite casts.
According to the recent report by Gamenguide, Adelaide Kane expressed that she is very saddened at the series' cancellation, as she has already learned to love show, and the cast involved for "Reign" Season 4. However, she is ready to move on with other role opportunities.
According to Hollywood Reporter, "Reign" Season 4 is currently under production to conclude with 16 episodes, so to allow the viewers experience a proper conclusion to the series. Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots is the centerpiece of the whole story, and giving her a proper closure is important.

With all these reports, rumors are rife that in order to properly give the story of Mary Stuart a conclusion, showrunners, Laurie McCarthy and Stephanie SenGupta will be bringing several casts to help Mary in securing her throne. Fans can expect a more deadly confrontation between Elizabeth and Mary but in the end, the two monarchs will end the war.
Reports entail that Torrance Coombs who plays as Bash, will definitely return to help Mary defeat Bothwell. Another cast who will be returning is Megan Follows to play Catherine. It is said that Catherine will be a catalyst in ending the war with England. Although "Reign" Season 4 will conclude, showrunners are promising the fans with a more thrilling storyline. Furthermore, rumors are circling that Francis will be coming back to reunite with Mary. However, the production team has yet comment on these reports.
