Now that the "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 70 has made everyone see how Universe 6 and 7 faced off through the Baseball game, fans are now looking forward to what's in store for them in the next episodes of the much anticipated anime series. It is expected that something bad is bound to happen to Goku.
It can be recalled in "Dragon Ball" Super Episode 70 entitled "Champa's Challenge! This Time We Face Off in Baseball!!" that Saiyans and Extraordinary beings played baseball. It was revealed that the game wasn't just a friendly match between Universe 6 & 7. Champa, the most powerful assassin came to Universe 7 to kill Goku, probably by Vegeta's command.
As the "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 71 titled "Death to Goku! A Hit-Job That Can't Be Refused" opens, a new arc will be revealed. The preview of Episode 71 shows Goten, Piccolo, and Gohan witnessing Goku's death on the hands of Hit. Rumors are rife that the most awaited comeback of Gohan will be witness as it is said that Gohan will return to revenge against Hit.
However, "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 72 will cause a bit of confusion as it will show the battle of hit and Goku. It could be that Episode 71 is just a dream of whoever and Goku isn't really going to die.
Meanwhile, it is said that that the anime series will go on hiatus after the episode 72. There will be no new episode on Jan. 1 next year and "Dragon Ball Super" will resume its regular programming with episode 73 on Jan. 8.
Although unofficial as of the moment, it is said that there would finally be news on Dec. 17. The panel for "Dragon Ball Super" will make a presentation during the Jump Fiesta and more details about the next arc and the direction of the anime will be revealed.
