Recently, Fiona Gallagher of "Shameless" has been demanding for an extra pay since it has been years since she was working with an underpaid.figure. Reports says that with or without her, they can either renew Season 8 or cancel the show. Warner Brothers has yet commented regarding the issue.
There is a great possibility that "Shameless" can no longer continue after Rosum demands more pay with co-star William H. Macy. NBC Bay Area reported that she wanted an increase after every episode since she is paid less for years.
Macy defended Rosum and relayed that she deserves to have pay increase. As much as he worked hard for "Shameless," so is she, he added. Macy even joked that the only part that he and Rosum are not equal was in the way they look, as per Entertainment.

It is speculated that Rosum has been offered by the network for equal pay, however there was no confirmation if she accepted the deal or not. Also, negotiations are still ongoing for the future of the "Shameless" series.

"Shameless" has been one of the highest rated series in the US. The series premiered last January 9, 2011. Frank played as a father of eight kids and Fiona as the eldest. Among the siblings were Lip played by Jeremy Allen White, Debbie played by Emma Kenny and Ethan Cutcosky played Carl.
