‘Reign’ Season 4 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: CW Revealed Finale Plot? Mary Weds Lord Darnley? Elizabeth Orders Execution Of Queen?

"Reign" Season 4 will be back on February next year and fans are both excited and disheartened as this will be the last for the CW series. The television network has reportedly decided to end the show basing on the declining rating since season one.

If "Reign" Season 4 will indeed be the last in the series, fans would want to know the fate of Queen Mary (Adelaide Kane) and her court. When King Francis II of France (Toby Regbo) died, everyone felt the emptiness in the Queen's life. However, in "Reign" Season 4, love is expected to blossom once again as Queen Mary will marry her new love interest Lord Darnley (Will Kemp), who is also hungry for power.

In history books, Queen Mary's happiness will not last for very long. Eventually, Lord Darnley dies and things will look bleak once again for Queen Mary. If "Reign" Season 4 will follow this story line, Queen Mary will not be expected to have a happy ending.

Some reports have it the Earl of Bothwell will be Queen Mary's third husband in "Reign" Season 4. Unfortunately, the Earl is reported to be the downfall of Queen Mary. So, either way, the show's protagonist seems to have no happy ending unless CW decides to make the fans happy and give the Queen and her courts a happy and satisfying ending.

As the Queen of Scots continue to fight her battle, Queen Elizabeth I (Rachel Skarsten) is reported to be victorious over Queen Mary. Speculations have it that Queen Elizabeth will order the execution of Queen Mary. What do you think will be the fate of Queen Mary on "Reign" Season 4?
