NBA Trade Rumors: Paul George And John Wall Headed To The Boston Celtics In Blockbuster Deal

The Boston Celtics are a good team. Danny Ainge, the Boston Celtics General Manager and President of Basketball Operations, has done a marvelous job rebuilding this team from the ground up. The former Boston Celtic great was the one who lured head coach Brad Stevens from Butler University.

Danny Ainge was also the man responsible for signing one of the biggest free agents last summer in 4 time NBA All Star center/power forward Al Horford. Plus the Boston Celtics have accumulated a of lot future draft picks that are very valuable assets that the Boston Celtics can use to either draft young talents or use as a trade bait to get another elite player. The future really looks bright for the Boston Celtics.

But despite all the assets and good, quality players that they acquired, the Boston Celtics are just that - a good team. That's why the Boston Celtics lately have been involved in a lot of trade rumors and speculations. The Boston Celtics are hoping they could snag another superstar to pair with Al Horford via trade that could propel them from being a good team to a great team.

The latest rumor that's been going around the NBA involves the Boston Celtics, All Star small forward Paul George and All Star point guard John Wall. According to reports, the Boston Celtics are in talks with the Washington Wizards and Indiana Pacers about a possible trade with Paul George and John Wall as the centerpieces of the proposed deal.

Under the proposed deal, the Boston Celtics would acquire Paul George from the Indiana Pacers and John Wall from the Washington Wizards. The Indiana Pacers would receive Jae Crowder, Marcus Smart, Jonas Jerebko from the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets' 2017 first round pick (via the Boston Celtics). The Washington Wizards, meanwhile, will get Isaiah Thomas, Amir Johnson from the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets 2018 first round pick (via the Boston Celtics). And finally, the Boston Celtics would get the services of Paul George from the Indiana Pacers and John Wall from the Washington Wizards.

The Boston Celtics stand to benefit the most in this trade. Despite giving a lot of role players and lottery picks, the allure of getting two superstars is just too good to pass up.

The Washington Wizards got a pair of good, quality players in Isaiah Thomas and Amir Johnson. Isaiah Thomas could be a good replacement for John Wall and it would be interesting to see how he would pair with Bradley Beal. Amir Johnson would a good back up down low for Marcin Gortat. The future draft pick could be a steal in the draft.

As for the Indiana Pacers, the acquisition of Jae Crowder, Marcus Smart and Jonas Jerebko coulb be something they could start building on in the future. The future draft pick would be beneficial for them as they embark on a rebuilding process
