'Billions' News and Updates: Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti Face Off In New Trailer

Showtime's "Billions" has become one of its most popular drama series after its first season ended with Damian Lewis' Bobby Axlerod filibustering face to face with Paul Giamatti's Attorney Chuck Rhoades in the former's demolished office. The show's appeal is based on its Shakespearean pitting of two great forces.

The unstoppable force versus the immovable object, so they say. The result is nothing but pure electric drama and stirring dialogue between a U.S. Attorney driven to bring down a self-made Wall Street millionaire hedge fund owner.

The trailer for the second season of "Billions" was dropped today by Showtime and it wastes no time telling us what happens after the encounter between the two characters from the last episode of season one and it looks like Damian Lewis's Bobby is out for blood, looking for the loophole that will cause Paul Giamatti's Rhoades to crumble.

One common factor that binds the two inseparably is Wendy Rhoades played by Maggie Siff, Chuck's wife who is also Bobby's psychiatric counsel. Since Mrs. Rhoades essentially knows more about the inner workings of the company, she has been and will continue to play a very key role in how the story will unfold in "Billions."

Returning in the cast of "Billions" along with Damian Lewis, Paul Giamatti and Maggie Siff are Malin Ackerman as Bobby's wife Lara. Also starring is Toby Leonard Moore, David Costabile and Condola Rashad.

"Billions" is created, written and executive produced by Brian Koppelman and David Levien along with Aaron Ross Sorkin. "Billions" will premiere its second season on Sunday, February 19 at 10:00 p.m. on Showtime. Are you excited about the new "Billions?" Please let us know in the comments section.
