“Airpods” Latest News & Updates: iPhone Owners Flock Apple Stores To Welcome Release Of Wireless Earpods!

It's a D-Day for owners of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus around the world as the highly anticipated wireless Airpods are set to hit the market today (December 19). Customers who are anxiously waiting for the devices for months lined up early in Apple Stores in Australia and New Zealand. This as buyers anticipated that the highly sought device may run out of stock early.

Priorities for the sale of Airpods are those iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus owners who placed their orders online last week. Those who missed the opportunity may acquire the device from Apple Stores, brick-and-mortar Apple retail stores and Apple authorized resellers and select carriers on first-come, first serve basis only. With the flock of buyers marching toward Apply Stores today, it is likely that the device will run out of stock before the day ends.

MacRumors reported that the first tranche of customers who purchased Airpods expressed satisfaction on the device. While earlier reports claimed that connecting Airpods to iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus could be a problem, the report pointed out that users who acquired the device were impressed on how easy to sync the device, and on its superb sound quality.

The release of highly sought Airpods happened a week after Apple CEO Tim Cook said early this month that the device will come in few weeks time. While earlier news claimed that Airpods won't make it for release during the Christmas season, the Cupertino tech giant has silenced its critics when it announced the release of the device starting today.

Apple claimed that Airpods will deliver extremely seamless wireless connection and superb sound quality, with its W1 chips managing battery life so well that users can listen to music up to five hours on a single charge. Watch the review of "Airpods" here:
