iPhone 8 Model Ferrari is expected to launch without a home button. Moreover, the device is slated to roll out in three variants, all of which may sport a borderless display. Furthermore, Apple is expected to launch several other devices in the upcoming year including the iMac, new iPad and MacBook.
Third Variant Drops Home Button
Apple has been noted to typically launch two variants of the same model such as a basic phone and a Plus like the iPhone 7 Plus or an S model like the iPHone 6s. Leaked reports revealed that manufacturing documentation for the iPhone 8 showed a third variant codenamed Ferrari. Apparently, the third variant may pack features based on feedback from the Apple fans.
On that note, the iPhone 8 Ferrari may sport a glass panel for a curved and borderless OLED display. Furthermore, the model may trade the Home button for a hidden fingerprint sensor technology, according to report. In addition, the three variants may roll out with new color variants as well.
It is believed that the iPhone 8 may sport a Red color option. Additionally, a Jet Black, Rose Gold, Gold and Silver options may also be in the works. Under the hood, the other two iPhone 8 variants may pack an A11 chip and iOS 11 as well as a 5.8-inch screen as well.
Apple Launches New iPad, iMac, MacBook In 2017?
In other news, the iPhone 8 may not be the only Apple device launched in the upcoming year as new versions of the tech giant's signature devices may also be launched in 2017. The eighth-gen iPad and iPad Pro is also expected to roll out along with the upgraded MacBooks and iMacs. The devices may pack the USB Type-C connectors and an improved graphics chip.
The iPhone 8 is expected to be a major iPhone generation as the flagship phone marks the tenth year anniversary of the iPhone series. Additionally, the iPhone 8 may also sport a more efficient battery as well as wireless charging. Finally, the iPhone 8 may feature iris scanning as well, Tech News Inc reported.
