This January, Sony will be releasing its upcoming action-adventure video game, "Gravity Rush 2". The said game is a sequel to its original series that has been released back in 2012.

It can be remembered that its original series created a positive impression to gamers as Kat, the protagonist in the video game, uses the forces of gravity battling her way as unfortunate events comes along. Kat can manipulate gravity which allows her to acquire unique movements and navigation.

Plot

The story will start where Gravity Rush left off. Kat will be returning along with her friend Raven on which after a gravity wave disturbance has occurred, Kat along with Raven and Syd, a police officer will conduct an investigation. Before they can be able to get a chance to use their powers these three characters will then be stucked in a gravitational whirlpool. It is also worth to note that they will arrive in Banga village, a strange mining settlement.

Some Unique Features

"Gravity Rush 2" is essentially an open world game. It allows a player to take on missions across the city for him to progress. The said game will have story missions at around 20 or more. Also it has been said that "though missions are quite long still a player will also be having a huge amount of side missions", as Forbes reported.

According to the official website of Playstation, the game will also feature an evolved gravity-based action. These are the two additional styles, "the lighter Lunar Style and heavier Jupiter Style." These will feature unique attacks.

In terms of its scope of adventure, the game will also feature twice the depth and scale as compared to the original series. Hence, it is 2.5 times larger that embodies more missions to keep the player busy.

But despite of the better features some critics expressed their opinions that "Gravity Rush 2", will still has minor dents. An example of this is an overly long mission in small spaces which made camera a pain particularly on camera controls.

Until then, we shall wait for its release date on January 20, 2017 and provide more updates. So don't forget to stay tuned only here at GamenGuide.
