Watch the Full Gearbox and Telltale Games Tales From the Borderlands SXSW [VIDEO]

Telltale Games just sent over a video featuring the full Tales from the Borderlands panel from SXSW. If you had any questions about what the series would be like here's all the info you will ever need, directly from the people who created it. 48 minutes of discussion await you below.

In it you'll learn how the two studios came together in the first place, get the news on how the story will come together, and hear lots of whooping and cheering as fans see just how great everything sounds. You'll also learn a somewhat startling revelation about Skags- they don't have ansues! You've been rifling through their puke this whole time!

Telltale Games Would Love to Make a James Bond Game

We reported on the video yesterday, where we learned that the series will feature really dark humor and focus on two of the more unsavory characters in Borderlands. Fiona and Rhys are notoriously unreliable characters, and true to their nature they will be retelling a story using the classic unreliable narrator technique, which seems perfectly suited to play up the comedy. The game will be set on Pandora immediately after the events of Borderlands 2 and all its DLC, and the story will be canon, and delightfully, darkly funny. Telltale may be known now more for grim and brutal games like The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us but don't forget that they cut their teeth on Sam and Max, one of the funniest series in recent memory.

The panel features Lead Designer Harrison Pink, President & Co-Founder of Telltale Games Kevin Bruner, Borderlands Franchise Director Matthew Armstrong, and Lead Writer of Borderlands 2 Anthony Burch. It was moderated by the fine folks from the The Indoor Kids podcast, Kumail Nanjiani and Emily Gordon. Check out the full 48-minute video below!
