“The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind” Expansion Announced
“The Elder Scrolls Online” is one of the titles which have surprised gamers this year. Even though it had an extremely rough start, with connection issues, high lag, insufficient content and many more. Now, the game has been stabilized and has managed to attract a steadily growing faithful audience.
Game Rant has announced the first major expansion coming to “The Elder Scrolls Online”. It is named “Morrowind” and unlike the previous little updates like “Thieves Guild” and “Dark Brotherhood”, this is a full blooded extension of the game’s universe. With the purchase of “The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind” players will receive the land of “Morrowind” 700 years before the era of “The Elder Scrolls 3”. “Morrowind” offers a vast new territory to explore and new challenges to face. Another big addition to the game is the introduction of the “Warden” class.
What is a game released nowadays, even an expansion, if it does not have a series of different versions available for purchase. Bethesda have not missed the opportunity, as “The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind” has a large variety of purchase options. IGN shares that for those who already own the game, the “Upgrade” version of “Morrowind” comes in two varieties, first is the standard upgrade, which comes at $39.99, the other one is the “Digital collector’s upgrade”, which stands at $59.99. A standard edition of the base game, together with the “Morrowind” expansion costs $59.99. Those who want to spend additional cash on in-game goodies can order the “Digital Collector’s Edition” which includes a costume for the new Warden Class, a grey bear, pet dwarven spider and a few other additions. The physical copy “Collector’s Edition” is priced ay $99.99 comes with its own box, a collectible statue, map of Morrowind, an art book and Discovery Pack Pre-Order Bonus.
The official “Elder Scrolls Online” site shares that another interesting addition to the game, coming with the “Morrowind” expansion is the introduction of 4v4v4 arena style player vs player combat. Those who are more interested in PVE and lore will be happy to find out that a guide through the political intrigues of “Morrowind” will be a partner assassin, who will help you survive the webs of deceit. As for the story itself, it revolves around restoring the powers of a demigod, so he can stop a meteor from crashing into Vivec City. “The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind” will be released on June 6, 2017 for PC, PS4 and XBOX One.
