Everyone might be talking about Namco Bandai's more recent title, Dark Souls II, but the team hasn't abandoned support for its other games. Case in point, two new DLC packs are now available for alien busting shooter Earth Defense Force 2025 on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
A press release had all the details on the new DLC, continuing the game's theme of B-grade sci-fi and horror movie goodness.
The packs in question unfortunately don't offer much in the way of new monsters or weapons, instead giving gamers more missions. But for anyone who enjoys the game as is, they should be a blast.
The first DLC, Mutant Rampage, consists of "20 new mayhem filled missions" forcing players to blast away at countless robots, dragons, and bugs. The second DLC also offers 20 new missions, but with the Ravagers as main foe.
Each pack goes for $9, and can be downloaded on either the PlayStation Network or Microsoft Market Place.
