'Fallout 4': New Mods Limits Reveal 100 For PS4, 150 For Xbox One; Gameplay Enhancements Via Nexus Mods
The "Fallout 4" developers are said to be in the adjustment phase when it comes to mod support. It should be noted that the patch notes of a recent "Fallout 4" update failed to reveal the new limits on mods. Apparently, the new cap on mods is expected to address stability issues in "Fallout 4".
"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" Special Edition Gets New Limits Too
Gamers have noticed that a "Skyrim" update also has new limits on the number of mods used during the game. Previously, the console versions of "Skyrim" and "Fallout 4" only limited players by the space that mods required. After the update, the number of mods that may be used has been changed to 100 on the PS4 and 150 on the Xbox One console.
Note that the "Fallout 4" patch notes only focused on the newly implemented features for browsing mods. It was also revealed that PS4 Pro would be supporting mods in "Fallout 4." On the other hand, the news came as an unpleasant surprise to fans who use large numbers of mods.
The "Fallout 4" developers revealed that the limits may still be altered in the future. Apparently, the caps had to be placed on mods post-internal testing for the stability of the game. Bethesda revealed that the new caps may add storage capacity to allow for larger mods within the 150/100 cap, Gamespot reported.

The "Fallout 4" mod cap may still cater to the new Macho Claws mod as well as the Iron Giant mod. Fans of the Man of Steel may also opt to get the Superman mod. Alternately, there is also a Deadpool mod for "Fallout 4" fans. Finally, a Full Dialogue Interface mod is also available at Nexus Mods. Check out more mods here:
