Naughty Dog launched the remastered edition of its popular action game The Last of Us Part II not long ago. If you are going to purchase it soon and it is your first time playing the game, then this article can help you! For today, I will provide you with some handy tips to help you survive the many enemies you will face in the game.

Go Stealth

There are multiple enemies in The Last of Us Part II. There are the Infected, which are humans that are affected by the Cordyceps brain infection. There are also groups of people that are members of different factions, such as the Washington Liberation Front and the Seraphites (aka Scars).

No matter who you face, it is important that you kill them stealthily as much as you can. Doing so not only saves you ammo but eliminating them this way is far more effective.

To use stealth to kill your enemies, crouch down and slowly move to the target. Press Triangle to grab them and Square to execute.

Once you have successfully defeated the enemy, do not just leave them anywhere. Drag them to where they cannot be seen by others. If you just left them at the spot where you eliminated them and another member of their group sees the lifeless body, they will call for backup!

Crouching Saves Ammo

Did you know that when you crouch and shoot in The Last of Us Part II, your accuracy improves significantly as a result? Not only that but you can take things a step further by going full-prone! To do this, just press and hold the Circle button until your character is in the prone position.

It should go without saying that you need to be in a safe spot before doing this. Otherwise, you are easy pickings for the enemy!

Utilize Objects to Your Advantage

As you go to the different areas in the game, you will find bottles and bricks that you can pick up and throw. Whenever you find some, be sure to utilize them to your advantage by throwing them in a certain direction. These objects will distract your enemies, giving you a small window of opportunity to take them out before they get to you.

Shoot a Second Time

If you use a gun or any ranged weapon in the game to kill the Infected, make sure that they are actually dead by shooting them one more time. That is because these enemies can still drag their lifeless bodies toward you, chewing your foot if they ever come close!

Now that the remastered edition of The Last of Us Part II is here, will you grab your own copy soon?
